A Member of the Advisory Board (MAB) of the Marbella University (MU) is an important sponsor active in the business life or already retired. MABs have the following honorary tasks and benefits:

1. MABs have the privilege to extend their business identity and professional importance (reputation) with the title “Marbella University – Member of the Advisory Board”. They can make use of the MU Logo for their business purposes.
2. MABs have a specific philosophical, ethical, social, and human responsibility in forming the future managers and leaders in the world of business, politics and social services, always in the perspective of the future of humanity and the world. Forming the future leaders for rock-solid personal integrity and professional competences has highest importance at MU.
3. MABs are available to the MU Director and the President of the MU for any concern of high relevance and importance for the identity and development of the MU as an institution, and of the curriculum (teaching) as the forming foundation of the student’s professional career and life as experts in business, politics, media, social, and psychological fields.
4. MABs can propose practical knowledge for the curriculums and MU-mission statement as well as faculty candidates, important international experts for a single lecture or scientific event, books for the library, and technical infrastructure for the “laboratories” (practical training workshops).
5. MABs can give advice and suggestions to the MU management, especially proposals for student projects concerning local, national and global concerns that are relevant for business people and / or political (social) engagement in the future.
6. MABs are available during a three year study course. During this time they are accessible to students who have a concern related to their studies and want advice in developing their future career and personal life.
7. MABs can give a deeper and very serious insight into specific aspects to individual students of the kind of business and field of competences they have or have had in the past. This can happen in the frame of a single meeting, of several meetings, or in the frame of an internship (announced on the MU hall information wall panel).
8. MABs can promote selected students with outstanding talents and results in a specific professional field with special knowledge and with their network of contacts.
9. MABs can assist students of their choice in the development of the student’s final thesis.
10. MABs can offer MU students discounts or any other benefits or special concessions at their business. The business and special discount offer will be featured in the MU Student Guide as well as on the MU Website.

Students will get a list of the MABs at the beginning of their study career. A first contact can be at any time and must be initiated via the MU administration office by presenting a personal presentation and describing the concern.
